Finance Manager – Business Services
As a member of the Finance Leadership Group, the position will function operationally and strategically working with the CFO to maintain and develop the USA business model toward long term profit sustainability and growth. Operationally, the role will take full leadership responsibility for the health, well-being, management and reporting of the finance support businesses, including Payroll, Business Services (including all back end Discipline support, procurement, real estate, IT and Cap Ex), USA Corporate Services, Banking and Treasury, Cash Management and Taxation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Overall Operational leadership of the Internal Finance Support businesses;
- Ensure financial integrity of results and processes;
- Deliver management reports effectively capturing the key business indicators;
- Develop financial models to support key whole of USA business initiatives;
- Conduct business reviews with the Support Financial Controllers identifying productivity improvement opportunities;
- Drive key back end support initiatives and other key USA business improvement projects;
- Reporting to internal businesses.
- Deputise for the CFO as and when required
Financial
- Oversee the finalisation of all consolidated USA management and financial reporting;
- Oversee all relationships with the Global Finance Support Teams in BNE
- Delivery of the monthly cash flow reporting requirements to HQ
- Responsible for the finance systems and data integrity;
- Oversee the coordination of the consolidated forecast and budget processes;
- Lead the external audit programs and agreed corporate improvement initiatives
People
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to internal finance teams;
- Identify and develop a successor;
- Adhere to Flight Centre minimum standards and hold effective 1 on 1's meetings and information sharing;
- Provide Brightness of Future for finance staff;
- Facilitate career planning processes;
- Support training and development initiatives.

Skills/Experience
- CPA/CA (or equivalent) qualified - preferred but not essential.
- At least 10 years experience in Finance, with a minimum 2 years in Leadership
- Strong commercial acumen and technical knowledge
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing business strategy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
- Proven leadership and teamwork skills
- Developing and implementing business models/processes in multi-site location
- Strong analytical skills with initiative to resolve issues or pursue business opportunities as they are identified

Remuneration
