GOGO Worldwide Vacations is currently looking for an upbeat, energetic self starter to represent the company as a Business Development Manager in one of our key producing regions. Candidate must have excellent communication and relationship building skills. A passion for travel is a must.

About the Opportunity:

Maintain, service and support our key producing travel partners by education, marketing development and relationship building. Move market-share and grow our total transaction value by assisting our travel-partners in the growth of their business by utilizing our vast marketing and sales tools. The Business Development Manager will cover the following regions - TX, LA, & OK.

Job Duties

Daily sales calls to travel-agencies and preferred accounts; conduct In-House agency presentations; Represent the company at Trade events; attend trade meetings, and support industry organizations; Host corporate famil trips when needed; Plan and execute Sales Blitzes with our hotel partners and suppliers; Assist with events in other regions if needed; Seek out co-op and promotional opportunities during appointments with travel-agents and travel partners; Position GOGO worldwide vacations as the only source to book any travel related packages. Provide the best possible service and attention in the industry.  Go one better.

The position requires an outgoing positive, professional attitude, strong communication and time management skills, teamwork and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Job requires extensive travel by various means of transportation

Candidate is required to have a level of computer proficiency that will allow them to navigate the internet, communicate via e-mail, operate a laptop computer, conduct & update presentations using PowerPoint, understand spreadsheets, and prepare documents using a word processor.  In addition, Candidate is expected to speak in public and prepare presentations to train travel agents, plus have an acceptable driving record.

Travel industry experience is not required but preferred. Only those most qualified for the position will be contacted for an interview.
